The Moody 42 Centre Cockpit was designed for long-distance cruising, so she is solidly constructed. She is easy to sail singlehanded as all the sail controls are within easy reach of the helmsman.
The Moody 42 is a big boat – both in interior volume and displacement terms. She’s very comfortable to live on, both under way and at anchor, and there’s enough room for all the long-term cruising essentials.

This one is a very nice, clean example of the Moody 42. Very well equipped and update recently - should be seen.
OWNERS REMARKS
I have decided to sell reluctantly due to poor health. I have recently sailed her to Preveza for the other side of Greece and she is now ashore.
She was also repainted below the waterline and antifouled.
She has many extras including a diesel generator, 400w professionally installed solar panels, a washing machine, davits for the recently renovated dinghy, a 4 stroke outboard motor with winch, a water maker, a water heater, many tools and spare parts, a slatted bed and new memory foam mattress in the huge rear cabin.
She is VAT paid with an unlimited Greek sailing log. (She can stay in the EU indefinitely).
Her length on the registration document is 11.92m (Less than 12m for marina charges)

ACCOMMODATION
The salon is good sized and features a large U shaped dining area to port and a long settee couch to starboard. A large fixed table with two folding leaves easily provides seating for 6 to 7 people when dining.
Forward is the guest head to port with storage lockers opposite. The guest stateroom all the way forward features a large overhead opening hatch and lockers port and starboard
Just aft of the salon on the port side is the forward facing Navigation station. Directly behind the nav station is additional storage on the outboard side with a dedicated Captains Berth. The inboard side had swing out doors to access the Engine and Generator.
Aft of the Salon on the starboard side is the Galley Kitchen. Moving through the galley area is the second head which can be privately accessed from the Master Stateroom
The Master Stateroom has a Center Line Queen bed with seating areas and impressive storage cabinets and lockers.
